Graphics Card For £100 - Worth Upgrading? - Hardware & Software

Is it worth me upgrading my graphics card for £100 budget? Heres my current specs (I need PCI-Express) Pentium(R) Dual-Core CPU E5300 @ 3.2GHz (overclocked from 2.6GHz) Gigabyte P43-ES3G Motherboard 4GB Corsair DDR2 Memory Radeon 4670 (1GB) Thanks in advance

Not really. You should save up and get a new build all together.

Tbh I don't want to replace the whole thing, can you recommend any replacement parts for the ones which most need an upgrade?

You might find with newer cards your processor bottlenecks it.

The 4670 is weak, but the E5300, overclocked, is adequate for many games (try OCing it even more because I have one at 3.85GHz and 4GHz is not unheard of with sufficient cooling). I suggest a 4870 1GB which you can pick up for ~£90, or if you're lucky a 4890 for not much more. The power supply may be a limiting factor also, so what do you have?

Now £150, but still a pretty good deal for that Asus one.
