I'm getting a new graphics card and i can't decide which one is the best for under $200.
Doesn't matter if it's NVIDIA or ATI.
I'm buying from newegg.
thx ppl.
ati 4700
for under 200 but the GTX 275 is a goodie
well ati 4890 is just above 200
But the GTX 275, which costs $220 with free shipping and IIRC a MIR, rapes it.
The sparkle I posted is 205$ w/ free shipping.
Fuck Sparkle.
You can say, however, that they live up to their name.
The GTX 275 from PNY, which costs $220 w/ free shipping, has a $25 MIR attached as well.
They aren't horridly bad, just their psu's.
I thought that was a different brand who'd just named their PSUs sparkle, like how OCZ names theirs _XStream
Don't get sparkle. Cheap chinese company that makes shitty quality parts
looks like i'm gonna go with ati 4890

thx for the help guys
If you were really thanking us for our help, you'd use it.
The consensus was 4870 1GB or GTX 275. No one said the 4890 was worth it.
Because it's not worth it.

They are horridly bad, every card I have gotten from them, has been DOA.

Just so everyone knows the 4870 is the cheapest card on there and is pretty much the same dollar per power as 260, all cards are pretty much the same dollar per power except the 4890 is pretty over priced.
this was done comparing the cheapest 260 216 to the average 4870. most 260 216's would lose in price/power battle on 4870

No.
Way to fail, Crysis has always been more optimized for Nvidia since the beginning, of course the Nvidia cards are going to have an unfair advantage in it.

Any one with half a brain can selectively show benchmarks to make a card look better or worse.
