I installed Arch Linux yesterday night, here's the finished result running on an Nvidia Geforce 4 and an ATI Radeon 9250, the radeon having a DVI port for the middle screen.
but can it run crysis?
So?
If you don't have anything sensible to post, leave. It was hard to get this setup.
Ok, but why are you telling us? I've done tons of hacky shit with Linux.
go openbawx
It's really nice, except for the first monitor. It stands out horribly.
First is physically a bigger one, different model from the others and is set as a higher resolution and runs on a seperate graphics card, so I decided to differentiate from the other two.
This should really be in: http://www.facepunch.com/showthread.php?t=763232
big monitor should be in middle
Have a box for not knowing the purpose of this thread.
No, that is where it should be. All you're doing here is showing off.
I'm discussing multiple monitors. Have a box.
You're showing off.
grats now run different wm's on each screen
You're showing off.
That's what you're suppose to do when you have GNU/Linux.
No it isn't. You're supposed to be a recluse when you use GNU/pretty much any kernel
O and you should really get rid of that ad on the bottom left, of the wallpaper on the left. Should be easy in photoshop.
what should we discuss?
lol aren't you the guy who took a screenshot of a stretched out screenshot in the desktop thread? [editline]10:45AM[/editline] It is :v: http://www.facepunch.com/showpost.php?p=17788780&postcount=247
O and you should really get rid of that ad on the bottom left, of the wallpaper on the left. Should be easy in photoshop.
Photoshop works like shit in Wine.
The Gimp.
Gimp works like shit in - well anything really.
Gimp works like shit in - well anything really.
Despite being a GNU application, it works better in Windows.
Photoshop works like shit in Wine.
CS2 is beautiful in Wine. I use it every day :(
I haven't tried CS2 in wine. Only PS8 and CS3
Despite being a GNU application, it works better in Windows.
i think you missed the point.. Gimp is shit.
I would do it for you, in photoshop or gimp but you used tinypic, which shrinks images.
