All movies are just "icons" ( ? ) - Hardware & Software

It started to be like this for like 1-2 weeks ago. Everything i film, download or recording with fraps is just icons. Like this. [IMG]http://i.imgur.com/m2j78.jpg[/IMG] The 2 portal 2 videos and the QuestViewer is recorded in the last 1 week and why does it not shit the "image" like the other? Hope you understand the problem. Hard to explain. [editline]1st May 2011[/editline] The fun is also that they are Media player icons when they are suppose to open in VLC.

Check what fileformat it is.

This happens for me too, randomly, sometimes when I watch a video it changes back to the picture.

So which program is associated with the files? VLC or Media Player? This isn't really a major a problem as long as they play with the program you want them to play with.

I have searched a lot but can't find a reason. I will just wait and hope everything goes back to normal. [editline]2nd May 2011[/editline] Tried to move some videos to my laptop. They showed the image and i tried to move them back and it's still just the VLC Icon [editline]2nd May 2011[/editline] I think I fixed it. I did just reset the system (or what word it is) 2 weeks and now it seems to work. Just have to update windows again. Now I can see if they fucked up anything.

IT ALL WORKS NOW! Thank people for trying to help me with this.
