This is a pretty shite test to be honest, and I don't know why people keep reposting it. It's got loads of awful questions and is designed to push most sensible people towards the lower left corner.
It was designed by a bunch of Brits in the 1990s who got upset that the Labour Party moved to the center and decided to make a test that could be twisted to show that Tony Blair was a rightwing authoritarian.
Questions like this:

I agree that this is not a very acurate test, but many political compass test have some bias.
You wouldn't happen to know of a better alternative?

Probably the "Isidewith" one. With tests that don't involve specific parties or candidates, you tend to get pushed into a place the test maker wants you to be.
This seems pretty accurate, but it seems to be focused on American politics.
