When I try to boot Windows I get "The boot selection failed because a required device is inaccessible" with error code 0xc000000e. I've tried running startup repair several times but it never detects any errors.
I've seen on Google that this is sometimes caused by a bad BCD. I opened it in bcdedit and everything looked okay (the device fields were correct). I even tried rebuilding the BCD, but to no effect. By the way, Windows is installed in legacy BIOS mode.
I've also tried bootrec with /FixMbr and /FixBoot as well as marking the Windows 7 system partition as active. No luck.
Possible weirdness:
Windows isn't installed on my main drive. In recovery mode, it shows my boot files on D: and my Windows files on E:
I have Linux installed on an entirely separate hard drive in UEFI mode. However this should be irrelevant since I'm booting from the Windows partition directly.
