It's really strange that this isn't a PS4 exclusive or something, considering how this is one of PlayStations flagship titles.
Goes to show how much faith they have in their new system...

Historically Polyphony has done Gran turismo as a "tick-tock" release on the full versions.
uneven numbers are new platforms, while even numbers are improvements on the previous version.

The PS4 version would probably be a "all in one" release of everything made for the PS3 version.
