The videocard I have out with me now is as the title says. I don't remember what happened, but a screw fell within the casing from the inside, and the videocard no longer has any input to the monitor. Does the cost for repair by EVGA themselves run a fair amount? I'd love to get it fixed mainly due to the fact it's now a very rare videocard, and expensive, but if it's upwards of a hundred dollars, it'll be no dice.
Has anyone else here perhaps had a videocard directly fixed or repaired?
Is your warranty intact? I believe EVGA gave me a lifetime warranty with my card if I registered it.
It's undoubtful that you've shorted something, and diagnosing the destroyed compoent by yourself is usually a impossible task. I don't think EVGA would even accept any repair that card (paid or not), as its lifeline has been terminated long ago.

Lifetime Warrenty = As long as this card is still being manufactured/considered new or mainstream. It does not mean as long as the owner is alive.
lol "repairal"
Haha, I know right. Ah well', made a mistake.
I'll call EVGA today and hit em' up. See if phone support can be of any assistance
So now I'm missing the 8pin PCIE cable, and nobody sells them....fantastic.
