Yeah, it isn't really surprising.
GAME may have some sort of a deal with publishers as in if they sell their game earlier on release than they would, they wouldn't stock their game? I am unsure if this is true or not just seems like the most logical thing, that I can think of as of now anyhow.
Games pretty dumb in a lot of ways.
Bugs aside(their are shitloads)
Their are so many QTE in shit, just QTE bears everywhere.
A fucking like 4-5 prologue, it sort of makes up for it at the end of it.
When you finally get to your FIRST assassination, like the big main ones, you dont even do it, you send some scrubby initiate to do it for you.
Weapons DO not matter in the slightest, once you have the pistol and get the Assassin tomahawk(you get this at the start of connor) thats all you need.
No armor upgrades, I guess you can say no one wore armor in that time like they did back in the day.
Fighting is easier than its ever been, but its actually a lot of fun and smooth, but insanely easy.
Dont think you can double assassinate by walking up to two guards silently, it always just kills 1, dont know if thats a bug.
Money/Furs/Tradegoods dont mean jack shit at all in this game, only things worthwhile buying is shit for you ship, which you dont need because the Naval shit is optional.
Shitloads of petty side quests that dont do jack shit for you since none of the rewards are important at all.
Cutscenes every 5 steps.
Everything that has to do with trading and the homesteads is completely pointless, you do not need money or goods in this game at all, its a shitty system.
Basically this game has A LOT of stuff just to sidetrack you and waste time.
Its shit compared to 2, but its okay, better to just play the main missions and do no sidequests, none of that is important unless you want 100%
