So recently my version of windows 7 died horribly and I get offered to have windows 8 installed instead of 7 being reinstalled so I went what the hell why not. Today I discovered that he installed windows 8 but didn't upgrade it to 8.1. So I go and update it to 8.1 and everything changed to French. After that I go to the language screen and set English U.S to one of the system languages, problem is the language settings options won't download the English language pack because it doesn't think I'm connected to the internet. Anyone know how to fix this?
