Looking for some "voice controlling" computer software

So basically, I'm looking for software to control my PC with voice commands to experiment with making certain day-to-day operations a bit easier. Things like starting/exiting programs, and general tasks that require more time when using Keyboard + mouse than using a simple voice command ("Search for X", "Open thread X of facepunch" etc.).

I've looked at Dragon Natural Speaking ([url]http://nuance.com/for-individuals/by-product/dragon-for-pc/index.htm[/url]), but that's not really for that kind of thing, and I'm not going to pay 200 dollars for such a thing :v:

I've got no idea if such a thing even exists, and if it's really viable for what I'm trying to do with it. So I ask you, H&S: Do any of you have any idea where I might find such a program, or if this is even possible?

And for the record: I fucking love it when they use the computer in Star Trek. I know it won't be possible to get something even close to that, but it got me thinking anyways :eng101:

Doesn't W7 come with integrated voice control?

It does, but not for my language (Dutch). Changing the language packs, which I don't want to use, doesn't work. Rather backwards that I can't even use it in English if I'm not on an English operating system.
