I'm planning to get a 4870 but it needs two 6 pin connectors. The PSU I'm gonna get has only one and has four 4 pin molex connectors, but the card comes with two 2 molex to 1 six pin adapters. Will I need these connectors for anything? I haven't seen anything in my build that needs them.
What is your PSU.
Ol' IDE Hard drives and disk drives use molex connectors, and I believe they're also used for converting to PCI-E plugs and the like, universal 12v plugs, y'see?

My HDD and Dvd drive are SATA.
Fans.
You whill for fans, and such, but most modern drives use sata plugs.
For fans daisychain splitters/ get a fan controller.
must be a crap psu, since it's only got 4 molex plugs
