Props to ubisoft for still having faith in the wii-u
There was an interview with someone form Ubisoft about this a week or so ago and they were a bit more descriptive of how all of the console versions will look.
PS3/360 = medium/low
Wii U = medium, maybe somethings are closer to high
PS4/Xbone = High

soooooorta
Like the Wii U version of Rayman Legends is objectively the best version but that doesn't change that they still decided at the last second to make it multi-plat.
I don't think it's more "having faith" as much as it is acknowledging the freedoms the slightly better hardware allows. The Wii U version of Splinter Cell: Blacklist has the best graphics on any console, but it's also locked at 20 FPS and suffers from really bad pop-in because you can't install the game.
It's not locked to 20fps, I don't know where people get that idea.

Sure it dips down to 20fps more often than the PS3 and 360 versions but it's definitely not locked to 20fps.
I really want to see the WiiU succeed; it's hardware isn't as ancient as the PS3/360's, and the fact that it, without nearly a decade of experience and optimization, can match the consoles that do have that is a testament to its potential.
Sadly most of the games on it so far are first party or shoddy third party ports, CoD:BO2 and Madden 13 for example, so it will be a while before we see companies other than Nintendo make great look games for the Wii U.
But both Ubisoft and Activision are apparently staying loyal, mostly, and are working on making the best they can while learning about the console. Interviews from both about their Wii U titles seem promising since they now have dedicated teams working with just the Wii U.
If it does turn out to be good on the WiiU, since my computer doesn't even meet half of the minimum I might buy it for the U

it's ram quantity is the biggest advantage it has over the PS3 and 360. There are "HD ports" of PS2 games that are 720p only because the PS3's 512MB makes 1920x1080 resolutions nearly impossible to accomplish unless you do some intense optimization that most 3rd party developers are never expected to do.
