Hey there,
Running the latest beta AMD drivers with the CCC on a 290x/8350 system. Previously no instability. I played a few games last night and shut down my computer; In the morning, when I booted it up again, it dumped to black screen a few minutes after the start up sequence. I restarted and opened task manager before it crashed, and it appears that it crashes when the Catalyst Control Center process starts up - This correlates with the video card fan spinning up (going from probably 38% to 60%) just moments before the crash. Is there a way to reset CCC profiles, and failing that, are there any negatives to simply uninstalling it? I can't recall ever using it.
Thanks.

Actually, new question: I uninstalled CCC, and suddenly the time it takes for my computer to become usable after a cold boot (From login to things actually working and not hanging) decreased from like five minutes to a few moments. So, all in all: Screw CCC. Are there any core functionalities that are useful that CCC provides? And, if so, are there any other applications that can stand in for it?
