• Is My Motherboard Dead?

Shortly after the update 10 AU, my computer would keep freezing ~ 5mins after boot. I managed to resolve this by setting Full Performance in windows power settings. The next day, I found my computer has started itself up (from sleep), so I restated, only to find it won't post. I've tried swapping out the ram, which allowed it to post once (and only once). I've also tried removing the GPU (using the iGPU instead). Motherboard is a Z170 Pro-Gaming motherboard, CPU is an i5-6600K There are 4 debug(?) LEDs on the board, which does the following on boot; The CPU light turns on, than off. the DRAM light turns on, for longer than the CPU light, than turns off. the VGA light remains off. the BOOT_DEV(?) light remains off. Is the board dead or is it something else I should be looking into?

Can you at least boot into BIOS? Try ctrl+alt+del several times as you power up the computer. I have the exact same motherboard as you and this has been an issue for me as I update my BIOS.

It might be annoying, but try reseating the motherboard just to make sure nothing is causing a short, I've had the same problem.
Disconnect everything but your monitor and see if it posts. If you have two RAM sticks, try if it works with either one removed.
We can't repair the mother board,if we will repair also in future it may again fail so better to buy a new one...
