So yeah, I ran into a problem on my Acer desktop that seems to be more common than I thought initially. I tried looking around for answers on fixing it, but allof them involved having the Windows 7 installation disk or having a backup, two things I don't have since I'm dumb and all. Would it be possible to boot from an USB? I used my older USB music player to fix my BIOS once, maybe it could help me now? The whole mess started when I was comrpessing my C drive for my massive Fraps videos. Turns out it'd have taken 20 hours so I decided that it wasn't worth it, cancelled after like 10 minutes and left it at that. Only after resterting the computer did the annoying prompt appear.
...
You don't happen to have any links for XP Pro, do you?
No, sorry. Try googling the specific version you need, that should find you something.
