Dear FBI, that's what happens when you build convenient backdoors into your security systems.
Holy balls how hard is it to just separate the internet connected infotainment computer from the computers that actually control the car's vital systems?

You could separate them but that would cost too much. Of course, you could also not have the massively gimmicky system in the car at all that makes it impossible to fit your own stereo but then you wouldn't have anything to compete with the other car makers....and people want an integrated touchscreen control that syncs with their phone, plays BluRay discs and has a multinational GPS system with advanced speech technology, right....RIIIGHT?
