• IE8 and Mozilla problems

Whenever I go to youtube.com, when i look up a video, my browser starts loading for half a second, and then the computer tells me the program isn't responding. I ran Onelive, looked for solutions online, and couldn't find anything. I decided to finally download Firefox, but it turns out Firefox runs into the same problem. After surfing for a bit, I found that this seems to happen on any site running Java. Has anyone else had this problem, and does anyone know how to fix it?
Reinstall Java?
Sound to me like a java problem, I suggest going to the sun microsystems site and getting latest java install. Though I think the main problem is that you use IE8 and mozilla, you should get opera, it's a superior browser.

I've tried reinstalling java, that didn't work. And honestly, I prefer Mozilla to Chrome.

OP uninstall and reinstall flash.
Did not work again. Maybe it isn't a software problem?
Try running IE8 with no add-ons (Start>Programs>Accessories>System Tools>Internet Explorer (No add-ons)). Go to the website now, does it still crash?
It doesn't crash. But it won't do anything because "Hello, you either have JavaScript turned off or an old version of Adobe's Flash Player. Get the latest Flash player." [editline]04:41PM[/editline] I'm leaving soon for the holidays, will not be able to try anything for a couple days.
To me that says a Flash or Java problem then.
I've tried uninstalling both flash and Java, neither have worked.
Hmmm, must be one of your addons but I don't know what you have installed. Just for the hell of it try disabling the real player addon if you have it. I remember that causing IE crashes in the past.
I don't have Real Player installed.
