Looks nice. I was never really interested in The Sims, nor Simcity, but I may check this game out nonetheless.
I have the feeling that I will love this.
Glad to see that they know their audience, who cares more about the mechanics behind the scenes than flashy graphics or superficial, "WE'RE GOING TO RELEASE THE GAME WITH 4900 DIFFERENT HAND CRAFTED CHARACTER MODELS," bullshit.
How neat, I suspect their rules for the pedestrian agents is very similar to the rules of peeps in RCT1+2

The guys who worked with simcity 4 and back seriously know how to make a proper game.
It looks amazing. I always loved clean and contrast-y graphics.
If this is going to be an Origin only, that means I'm going to miss a, so far, great game :(

You shouldn't let an easily ignorable (and in some cases, avoidable) service stop you from getting a great game. It's not even an awful service anyway. Either way you can easily just add it to Steam as a non-steam game for the Steam overlay.
Considering i still play at a few hours of Sim City 4 every day, its safe to say ill get this

Be optimistic. At least it won't use Ubisofts awful DRM.
At last i will get the feeling that the sims are actually doing something then just driving around like the other sim games.
Gonna get this for sure
looks... cartoony? dunno, i think simcity 3 still looked the best for its time
looks... cartoony?
so did sc3k and it owned

lol
I can't believe people are still using this "logic"
looks... cartoony? dunno, i think simcity 3 still looked the best for its time
It's not out yet, still a year to go and they still specifically said it's not meant to be a representation of the graphics.

sc3k was hardly cartoony, by that definition sc4 was cartoony as well.

They very clearly said that they're not the final graphics.

who cares if it's on origin it doesn't effect the game actual game does it?
it'd be kick ass if it was on steam but if it's not then a bad online service is most likely not going to stop me or anybody else from enjoying this game.
Yeah Yeah
I remember Spore and how they showed that off, and then what the final product was
I'm not excited just yet
Some people need to get over Origin being bad.. there's nothing wrong with it. You haters are finding little niggles as a reason for you not using it. You'll say you won't use Google next because it contains the letter G..
I really don't hope this'll turn out like Spore. I have faith in you, Maxis!
Wish the video was 5 hours long.
I'd still watch every second.
I really like the looks of this.
I will probably preorder it a bit before it releases.
GOTY 2013!
