Aaand... it's still region blocked. What a pity.
Last attempt at a quick buckaroo?
Was expecting a sequel announcement or something. Oh well.
Games for windows live still exists? I thought they killed it off a while ago.
Games for windows live still exists? I thought they killed it off a while ago.

and the game is still tied to Games for Windows Live, which is due to be shutdown on July 1st.
Yeah, ok. This is just a last minute cash grab by EA
Games for windows live still exists? I thought they killed it off a while ago.
You're probably thinking of Gamespy.
So basically there was no point to really removing it from steam in the first place? Then why freakin bother? :v
The game went quietly missing from Steam a few years ago, presumably gone from the store forever.
Wasn't it removed last year? Also, even though it was removed from the store, if you already bought it you could still play it. And GFWL doesn't hinder anything but the multiplayer so you can still enjoy the story. [editline]1st June 2014[/editline]
Was expecting a sequel announcement or something. Oh well.
That will never happen. Since Gears of War: Judgement flopped, they weren't allowed to pursue a sequel to Bulletstorm. Unfortunately, we'll never see a Bulletstorm 2.

Was this ever a good game? I remember hearing about it on release but never knew if it was any fun
Was this ever a good game? I remember hearing about it on release but never knew if it was any fun
A lot of people didn't like it, but i thought it was a really good game. It was funny, the gameplay was different from a lot of other modern FPS games, and the graphics are beautiful.
Yeah its actually pretty fun fps, I recommend playing the story at least.
Was this ever a good game? I remember hearing about it on release but never knew if it was any fun
I thought the game was pretty fun for what it is. If I remember correctly there's a lot of dick jokes like a lot
I liked how it tried to bring back that classic FPS singleplayer experience. But now Wolfenstein: TNO is out so, yeah, that'll do. Game is still definitely worth your time though, very fun.
Was this ever a good game? I remember hearing about it on release but never knew if it was any fun
It's really fun and the enemies all stop to stare for a moment if you pull off an especially brutal kill. GFWL is what's wrong with this game. It didn't even work for half the people that bought it so I had to end up downloading a crack after I paid $60 on release day. I would have been better off pirating it
-uh whatthefuck wrong topic sorry-
All GFWL games I've ever played were playable with an offline account.
Bulletstorm isn't.
I thought the game was pretty fun for what it is. If I remember correctly there's a lot of dick jokes like a lot
I remember getting it at gamestop, and the clerk said the entire game is the beginning of Reservoir Dogs
Was this ever a good game? I remember hearing about it on release but never knew if it was any fun
It was pretty much a 50/50 split, I loved it, I thought it had an interesting combat system and definitely had more color and flavor than most fps games that were being released at the time.
I thought the game was pretty fun for what it is. If I remember correctly there's a lot of dick jokes like a lot
I remember reading an article about it that said they were writing the script in English from the get-go, the writer even read some lines out loud back at home at dinner. Then he decided to give it a go translating them to Polish (Or was it Czech? Can't remember the country the devs are from, really) and was utterly shocked how much swearing there was. I guess it doesn't really feel as much when you're writing swearing words in a foreign language.
Nope. Online profile is required to play SP.
Wrong. I played Singleplayer just 3 days ago. Worked perfectly fine. [t]https://db.tt/3p8yzL6i[/t]
Bulletstorm isn't.
I've finished the game and only played 4 minutes online since thats what steam says my playtime is.
Is GFWL dying even confirmed by anyone yet? It's rumored to happen within a month, but no official Microsoft sources say anything about it, and Wikipedia states
In August 2013, a since-deleted support article for Age of Empires Online announced that the Games for Windows – Live service would be discontinued on July 1, 2014.[5] This has yet to be confirmed by Microsoft but many media sources believe it is true.

Wrong. I played Singleplayer just 3 days ago. Worked perfectly fine. [t]https://db.tt/3p8yzL6i[/t]
You are still using online profile. You are lying if you try to say that you are using offline profile because offline profiles aren't supported at all. You can only play offline when you have already activated your copy of Bulletstorm with online profile. When GFWL dies Bulletstorm will be unplayable for people who haven't activated Bulletstorm on their computer.
Bulletstorm, being what it is, pretty basic stuff with stupid humor, is worth checking out in my opinion. At least I liked it very much. Shame that GFWL ever existed. English in that regard is very forgiving, can you imagine being called something like a "motherfucker" in Russian with no intention to insult you as much as it actually would? It's the reason we don't get to watch Hollywood films with "proper" translation. That would be a horrible experience with new words jumping out of nothing as they go :v:
We also take it way harder. Especially, "simpler" people. [sp]СЕМЬЮ НЕ ТРОГАЙ УРОД[/sp]
Exactly, cultural differences is all. Dunno how to translate "motherfucker", so let it just be this, being called a "motherfucker" would in fact imply exactly that, and family in general, but especially mother, is sacred and is not to be touched even verbally. Hence why no friendly "мамоёб" gets wildly thrown around in Russia, while "Еб твою мать" is always meant to be offensive and shocking to draw one's attention.
I'm assuming that would translate way better if I knew Russian :v:
Google never fails to translate Russian syntax in the most funny albeit predictable fashion.
