okay so the other day i try to launch batman after having previously been playing it successfully since it came out, to discover this

things i have tried:
reinstalling batman.
installing the latest patch for batman.
reinstalling on a different hard drive.
updating my graphics card drivers.
reinstalling direct x.
specs:
ati 3870x2
i7 920
3gb ddr3
so like, what the fuck is up with this? it used to work just fine, and now it crashes after the splash. this sucks. help me i want to don a cape and beat the shit out of thugs with my bare hands.
Is J:\ your disk drive?
J is the drive it's installed on, I have 4 hard drives and a partition as C:\
but this has been the same for a while and it worked before
