This has been bugging me lately. What happens when you die. Do you go to eternal darkness. Do you have a new life. Or do you go to heaven. Vote what you think in the poll.

You invent immortality. Dying is for pussies.
There is no way NEAR enough options in this poll.
Where is the nothing happens? Eternal darkness and nothingness are 2 different things.

But I think, besides nothing happening, then reincarnation makes most sense.
Where is the "I don't know" option ?
Not really, do YOU ever wonder why people use excessive question marks?
I'll go nowhere, I, or more specifically the rests of my body will lay tucked down in the chest, rottening or maybe being sliced up in pieces for the sake of science.
It's hard for me to go anywhere when I am the brain in my body, which decomposes.
I will live in Valhalla because I am a nordic viking.
Do I ever wonder where I'll go when I die?
Yea, I'm hoping to be buried 6 feet down.

In a cemetery, of course.
There is no heaven nor no afterlife. I highly doubt that after billions and billions of years, when the universe has exhausted its supply of star making stuff, and all that is left is the dark nothingness of space, that you will still be up on a cloud strumming your little harp.
I look at it this way. There are 2 states of existence, existence(consciousness, awareness of environment) and nonexistence (unconscious, no awareness). If you think of life this way no awareness means exactly that, nothing emptiness no time so billions of years happen instantly as you have no awareness of the passage of time. Given enough time every unlikely outcome will happen and so you will eventually come back to life in some form or another. Of course you won't have any memories or realization of said past life as all associated parts of that life would not exist anymore. Its either that or you just exist then stop existing for all eternity again, either way Im perfectly ok with as you wont know either way.
Remember what it was like before you were born? It's like that.
I don't have any preconceptions about what happens when I die. The rational part of me says that I don't go anywhere, I just end. The logical part of me says that it doesn't have any bearing on what I do before I die, so why think about it?
Heaven

So I go out of my mother's vagina?
Again?
AWESOME
Hopefully I go to the morgue but if I end up in some necrophiliac's basement I guess it won't matter much since I'll be dead.
You enter the Emperor's Peace, provided you died in his grace.
No but I wonder when, I'll die.

There's a lot of people on Facepunch who don't think...
I'd really rather not start a huge relegious arguement, but...
When you die, you die. There is nothingness. This may seem like a bad thing, but it is not. You have no feelings, no needs, no wants. It's just nothingness. Imagine sleeping forever without dreaming. It's actually nice, really. Not having to worry about anything forever. Do not fear death, or think of it as a bad thing. Simply welcome death, for it is your eternal peaceful rest.
I don't have to wonder, thanks to denial, I'm immortal!

All I remember was seeing bits of yellow and darkness....oh you dick.

In that case if groups of species keep growing then where do they come from? Where does new life come from? Maybe when species die they end up being another group of species, we'll never know until we kick the bucket, isn't there a good film where they kill each other and then debilitate to come back to life - to their horror they end up getting haunted by the people they have done bad to.
In the ground.
Nothing. As in; Absolutely Nothing. Not even darkness. Just... Nothing.
Under six feet of dirt or in a furnace then afterward, put into a little box.
