Hi All, I am in desperate need of a laptop, and iv always had microsoft products and iv just recently bought a 2k PC. But i have though't why not go get a Apple laptop, something really different and maybe make my life a little more exciting. I just really need help in choosing what i should get, Mac Air or Mac Pro? I want one that is really storage sufficient and it has good performance when rendering videos etc etc. All these options and packages i don't know what i am looking for - If someone please send me in the right directions and im getting good bang for my buck i would really like to hear from ya.. Budget is $1.5 -2k.
What the hell is a Mac Air? Are you talking about a Macbook Air? If yes, then that's like asking if you should get a sedan or an 18-wheeler. Not the same category. [editline]5th April 2012[/editline] The Macbook Air is neither good for storing lots of data nor rendering. It's designed to be extremely portable, so it's not going to be a powerhouse. Get a Mac Pro, even though I don't see the point of buying another tower if you already have a $2000 PC.
maybe he means a macbook pro? I'd go for the MBP anyday
mbp refresh is round the corner, might wanna wait for a little while more
Oh yeah, do wait for that refresh.
Mac Pro is not a laptop.
I asked for a Big Mac and they gave me a burger
Well the Mac Pro isn't a laptop and the Macbook Air is a laptop so go you should probably go with that.
I bought a MBA solely for its mobility
