Why does he need to lay it out exactly the same as the existing station?
Just change it around?

Mapper of the Year 2013
This is just stupid! It's just a community map. It's not like it's an official map or anything. But, if the Société de transport de Montreal is going to sue him then he should just change it around like what garry said. He doesn't need to lay it out exactly the same as the existing station. But I still think suing the mapper is a bit drastic. Although, I understand their concerns of a risk of a terrorist attack. I'm not really sure who I should side with for this debate.
Streisand effect.
Good job.
And what's going to stop a terrorist from going to this place and checking it out themselves?
Can't you get into a lot of trouble for making a map of your own school too?
did they noticed that IF this map was use for terrorism, you do know this can work both ways for police force? This map was made for players to freely download and use on their servers, and as far as i know, i don't remember any terrorist to use this map and game unless someone want to throw me some evidance if this actually happened.
Every single counter-strike version this at least happens 2-3 times that somebody maps a school, or a
metro, or other public buildings. And people and up getting fired, or sued or kicked out of school.
Its becoming a cliche.

Because its familiar is pretty much the only reason why anyone would play his mediocre CS:GO map.
What are they going to do if someone releases a map based on a public place anonymously?
Are they going to threaten to sue every site that mirrors the map?
This looks so bad. It's a straight line with a subway in it. I don't even get it.
He got it all wrong!
The tracks are supposed to be electrified(or they were when I was last there).
Anyways, shouldn't the STM be concerned with something more important than just a map in a video game?

Brevik obviously! :v:

Sorry! I know this is a bad joke, but I couldn't help myself.

I heard a story about a guy in California (I think) some years ago who mapped out his High School for the old Counter-Strike. Apparently he got into trouble with the police and got expelled.
At least now the terrorist and Counter terrorist know where to spawn, buy guns, plant bomb and find/protect the hostages

If you believe most of the media, all of them?
Until someone shows me footage of a terrorist bunnyhopping around with an L96, I'm gonna say games don't cause terrorism
