So I portforwarded yesterday, and the computer connected to the router via cable is wroking fine, but my 2 laptops can't connect (They don't have static IPs) so when I try connecting, it gets stuck at retrieving IP or whatever. I did ipconfig /all and it says the ip is 0.0.0.0
How can I fix this. This makes me choose between my laptops having internet or not having a forwarded port and I want both.
I have my ISPs modem connected to my router connected to my computer with ethernet cables btw
give your laptops static ips
I tried to, but then they still couldn't connect.
If you assigned them static IPs, and it still doesn't work, it means you screwed something up in the router. Reset it and try again.
Reboot with internet disabled.
ipconfig /renew
ipconfig /flushdns
