Offline Singleplayer? They are learning... or at least I hope so.

... every single Sims game since the first one has been offline singleplayer.
No its definitely fifth because games with a 4 at the end is usually the fifth.

It's probably just a sarcastic title.
Preorder and get the bonus swimming pool diving board now !
Hard to see what they can do with a fourth installment since the third one's got pretty much everything a sim game could possibly have. Unless we're talking about a full-fledged sim game with really advanced, true-to-life AI, it's probably just The Sims 3.5 with shinier graphics.
I enjoyed this RPS article more than I usually enjoy their other articles.

heheheheh
No need for persistent internet connection? ..Huh, I can imagine that SimCity 2013 originally had an offline mode, but EA stopped Maxis from polishing the game completely and forces them to take offline mode away just 'cause "Arrr!" (pirates)

Yeah, just like 19th century actually means the 1800.
... every single Sims game since the first one has been offline singleplayer.
Just like every SimCity except for SimCity Network Edition where it was optional.

Sims Online was a thing, actually :v:

And if I'm being honest, some kind of optional multiplayer would actually be kind of cool. Like to have a neighborhood where you and your friends live.
I'm sure the 4 will be dropped and it'll just be called The Sims soon
