I'm going to get my license tomorrow, and my parents said they'll get me a car, provided its under $20,000 (spoiled, i know). I'm thinking right now of a holden commodore (ve model) but if you guys have any better suggestions id like to hear them. The car has to be available in australia, preferably automatic, but if its awesome enough ill learn manual to drive it. Low kms too (under 80,000). Oh and it can't be 8 cylinder due to P plate restrictions in australia.

My dad bought me a POS 1966 bug and it didn't even work. We're still not done making it fully functional.

If i was in the states, id get one of those old muscle cars like the pontiac firebird. over here thats not going to happen because
a) lots of them are left hand drive
b) they're like 3x expensive (along with all other cars)
c) you can't have v8's on your P plates
