Hey I'm looking at making an mini ITX as a space saver and because I can... As it stands my budget will be £750: So far im thinking: CPU - i5 3750k Quad Core GPU - GTX 670 RAM - 8GB 1600Mhz PSU - Corsair 500W Modular motherboard - Gigabyte Z77 mini ITX HDD - 500GB 7200rpm CPU cooler(as i will be overcloking) - Antech 620, i all ready have one of these so wont need to buy it. SSD - already got a Crucial M4 128GB Case - Fractal Node 304 which after having a search around i can get for £743.30 if you have any ideas on better parts or tips please let me know! :D
Well in my opinion, this is by far coolest itx case, which it can fit everything you need, http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16811345017 It also comes in Red,Orange, and Black
God no I hate that case and the node is a good size for an ITX case that thing is huge for an ITX lol But everyone to there own opinion dude :D
I personally own the Bitfenix, and while it isn't the smallest, I do enjoy its form factor and handles, which I think makes it more portable over boxes.
I think it's generally accepted that the Prodigy is the best Mini-ITX case.
How do you benchmark a case?
By putting the same components in different cases and seeing how they perform thermally.
SilverStone TJ08B-E is one of my favorite matx cases.
Get the fractal design!
Really the case is mostly personal preference. I really hate it when people on here get way to concerned with the case of all things. Seriously 1-2 degrees here and there and a few people online are not reason enough to get something you don't like (and it's not a reason to try to convince somebody to get something they don't like). Let him get the case he wants. And the build looks awesome to me.

Well, Mini-ITX cases usually differ greatly in what they offer and can fit. Unlike other other cases which are nitty gritty details.

There are very few significant benefits to getting one case over another, granted they are in the same price range, so we really didn't need two more people telling him the Prodigy is good. I'm not trying to start any debate here, I just see this a lot on Facepunch where people really like one style and kind of just reject any other style no matter what the OP says.
Personally, I think the prodigy is a pretty unappealing case visually. I would be more prone to go with the Node (from personal Fractal experience), the Sugo or one of Lian-Li's offerings.
