I'm building a general use computer on a budget of about $500 with shipping. I made this build, and it comes out to $491 with shipping. If someone has a suggestion that might make this better, or lower the cost, that would be appreciated. It will just be used for playing low requirement online games, using Word, and the like. Oh, and if I may ask a question, what is different between OEM and Retail?

Uhh, that processor sucks, Foxconn is horrible, I've never heard of LOGISYS as brand, and you are WAY better of getting a Samsung Spinpoint F3.
Also, OEM means that Windows 7 wont appreciate being reused on another PC/have your motherboard changed.

Doesn't it just ask you to put your serial in?

It does, but it will tell you that it is illegal most of the time, so you'll have to use phone activate and you'll get someone from support on the line eventually, then you say that you've gotten a new mobo or whatever happened and they'll activate it.
You're not going to want to cheap out on the power supply. Get THIS one and you should be all set.

Am I really being cheap on the power supply? The one I chose puts out almost 100 more watts than yours for half the price.

Thanks for the answer. The reviews on the MoBo was 5 eggs overall, and grandma doesn't need a fast processor. Logisys is a brand, and I took your advice on the HDD.
