I installed Bioshock 2 and start to run it when this pops up:

I tried re-installing it and everything. However, I did use custom install, would they have changed anything in any way? If you need more information just ask, thank you.

Called their support about 5 times and they all tell me different things to do, but to no avail.
Stop using a 9 year old OS.
Although an old (but still good OS), XP is supported by Bioshock 2 and *should* run, assuming your spec meets the minimum requirements - I advise you download all updates available for XP aswell as the latest drivers for your graphics card and sound card.
I've updated my graphics card and sound card drivers, and still no dice.
