My friend,CHICAGOMOBSTER's Ipod Nano has forzen and he can't not reboot it because of a previous incident where his hold switch had broken off. I'm asking once again FP,Can you help me(Him)??
You don't use the hold switch to reset, just hold menu and the center button iirc.
Worst case scenario, plug it in and format it through iTunes.
Unless you mean it's stuck in the locked position, in which case it depends on what generation. If it's the nanochromatic, pry off the top plastic thing, and you should see a little tiny switch in the center against the back. Just take a needle and push that over and it's unlocked.
I also support the restore method for a nano. Also make sure the firmware is the latest.
