This is actually a pretty cool idea seeing as how arma's big pull now is it's mission editor that has created a huge variety of gmod-style gamemodes
I really liked this when they announced it and gave a free trial out. It's got the lite-survival aspect going on but they understand that the fun of sandbox games is building your own fun and provide the tools for pretty involved stuff. Multiplayer was rough at the edges but playable and fun enough.
