Seems like the practical solution would be to ban watches the same way as other devices rather than try to create a scare about it. It's not like you'd need them in an examination room which should have a watch hanging on the wall. Or, better yet, create exams that are based on students' understanding about the subjects, not their ability to regurgitate information they read in their books. [editline]i[/editline] I can't even imagine anyone actually being able to use this (or the goddamn pen) without being caught. How would it not be blatantly obvious that they're reading something off of it? Surely they've got people supervising exams that would notice you staring into your <device> for half the exam? Props to the sellers integrating a small wireless headset into the equation, though. If it's small enough you could easily hide it behind some hair and hope no one's aware of it.
Maybe ban smart watches. Exams are too short to spend a hundreth of a second more reading an analog clock on the wall instead of my digital watch. A giant digital clock on the wall is ugly so no school has them.
I've cheated with all manner of devices, smartwatches included. Not surprised they're being sold as a separate item now.

And how should the person seeing it handle something like that, especially if he is a guy? "Please miss pull up your skirt, so I can check something out ?"

[/QUOTE] This so much. All exams do in my experience is teach students to remember terms, which are pointless if they don't actually understand the concepts.
