What is the name of that program which generates passwords and keeps them in a secured saved format?

What is the name of a program, I've seen it mentioned here but cannot find it for the life of me. It generates unique passwords for you and stores them in the program so they cannot be compromised. It helps you track all the accounts and passwords.

I ask because I'm finding that my older email address I've been using for decades have had increased activity - people are trying to break into them or use them.
