Not in a million years.
Looks like they took they got "inspired" by bleach. Edit: This post is too point out Ninja theorys lack of creativity, not implying that bleach invented the word "hollow" :v:
Bleach invented pale characters, the word hollow and deserts?
Bleach invented pale characters, the word hollow and deserts?
Well no because i didn't use the word invented, but you have you admit this DLC seems to lack originality, its like if someone had made a wizard game and called the main character Harry Trotter who wears glasses and a black robe, JK Rowling didn't invent the name harry potter, glasses, and black robes, but it still shows lack of originality of the person that made the game.

Your saying it ripped from bleach because, it had a desert and a pale character? I will give you a very minor point for hollow vergil but it's probably more of a coincidence than a " "Inspiration" " You don't call battlefield or cod a ripoff of doom or quake because it has guns. You wouldn't call a DLC for DMC a ripoff of bleach because it has deserts and super white characters. Or lacking originality. It's really just semantics when it comes to "I never said it was a rippoff/invented by" Or just because it has a desert and a white character and the name "hollow vergil" doesn't mean it lacks creativity.
Fuck you!™
I still don't understand the ending of DMC. How was Vergil in the wrong in any way?

Gotta say, it does seem like a somewhat good game if you can get past the physical wall of teen angst.
Gotta say, it does seem like a somewhat good game if you can get past the physical wall of teen angst.
But here is the thing, it's an okay Heavenly Sword game, their gameplays are nearly identical. That's not what I want in my Devil May Cry game. But at the same time the story and presentation, other than one REALLY COOL level, are sub-par.
[t]http://i.imgur.com/XJbrNsp.png[/t] Let's see how this turns out.
Should waited until it was at least $20. It's so short and easy that it's really only worth it for that amount of money. Also, the PS3 port has huge framerate and screen tearing issues. Cutscenes barely even hold up at 30 fps.

I guess it would also depend on what you would consider a lack of creativity, since you don't consider it lacking but i would as it just screams bleach to me. I wont snip my original post as i still think its pretty unoriginal of Ninja theory
[DLC intensifies]
Bleach invented pale characters, the word hollow and deserts?
You would have to read/watch Bleach to understand the references. [sub][sub][sub]come onnnnn, do it. Join the cool club by reading or watching Bleach.[/sub][/sub][/sub]
As a fan of the old DMC, I naturally despised this game because Dante's hair wasn't white (as every major games publication will tell you) but Ninja Theory delivered in the end. Though I was still disappointed that Vergil didn't look motivated enough, lo and behold: I sincerely hope that Ninja Theory continues to offer high quality entertainment throughout 2013.

Also, I wonder if the facial animations in this DLC are as bad as they were in the main game. I can't express the term "Flapping their gums" enough.
Does nobody on this forum actually like this game? I really enjoyed it and I'll be picking up this dlc too.

I know this is kinda dumb to ask on a PC version thread of this But does anyone know where the fuck you redeem the code that you get from a gamestop preorder? It's some 11 digit code that they say to redeem on a website but the only option it has is for a mailing list thing.
