kay so.
im looking for a program that can load two videos at once, and allow you to pick sound from one (or an outside source) and pick which video plays at which point (kinda like camera angles)
anyone know of any good ones?

there isn't really any program that does exactly what you described, but you can cut the video into pieces and seperate the sound track out even with wmm (which you shouldn't use at all)
yeah but that would take ages if i wanted to do something like cover a full concert in one sitting, and then switch between my playing and the actual concert footage
Uh, any program can do that? Vegas, AE, all other ones..

I've heard Final Cut is good for manipulating multiple video files, that's if you've got a mac of course, otherwise I'd personally suggest Sony Vegas because of it's ease of use or Premier Pro... (:
I've used Adobe Premier in the past; it can what you are asking and a whole lot more. It is costly and is somewhat over-kill for what you are attempting to do.
Your school may have a media lab with video-editing software and you could probably find someone there to help you with it too.
