Computer desk just broke. Cheapest way to build simple one like this?

It's 2am and my computer desk just broke, I'm in my bed with my laptop. What's the easiest, cheapest way to build a simple one like this? I've tried searching but, tutorials I've found are for more complex things.
1. I buy 3 wooden boards, but any specific kind?
2. How should I secure them?
3. Anything else to know?

Putting it together with simple nails would do, but the best is long screws and getting them in place
with a cordless drill.
But I recommend putting a board about 8 inches below the surface,
to ensure it doesn't become a folding table when someone leans against it.
And to even give you some more space.
Make sure that on the corners you use the metal nail-sheet things... to help secure the corner and re-inforce the wood
Also, just use something that is common, but get some more wooden stripes, or little metal sheets to help reinforce it so it doesn't start to sag in the middle early on.
Hope this helps man
I would suggest putting a bar in the middle on the side where you aren't sitting to add more stability.
And dont forget to sand it down before you paint it!
build a sturdy frame and put a writing surface on top of that. Think of what you're doing as a frame rather than as a desk and your results will be much sturdier.
Yeah, you definitely need a "back" to your desk, or else it becomes wobbly.

Might even wanna combine this with turning it into a roll-out area for a keyboard, much like a drawer.
If it's going to be against a wall, you could just use really heavy duty shelving brackets and just have a floating desk. It's really simple.

3 of these put into studs and a nice piece of wood do nicely, round the corners with a router or simply sandpaper, drill some holes for grommets, sand it all with a fine grit, and stain it.
Or you could do it as my brothers desk, 2 pieces of wood against the wall where the surface rests
on, and a additional stud on the floor. But then it's not really floating.
IKEA is probably the best for cheap 1-2-3 desks, unless you want to do it yourself.
Now that you made a 3D model already you can just print it with a 3D-printer.
Since you're a rookie the putting together part would normally be done with some screws or nails if you're that sort of thing.
but since you're starting out get some wodden adhesive(yes they make glue just for wodden surfaces) and let it dry, when it's dry I suggest you use some screws or nails since the thing wont fall a part so easly.
