• Need external device to read hardrive that's not in a computer

So, my family's computer finally died on us. I have my own computer, but the others in my family need to check they're emails and my dad worked a lot on the other. We're just buying a cheap already built computer from somewhere else, it's not for games, it's just for music and internet things. Anyway, there's a lot of files on the old hard drive that we would like to keep. Videos, pictures, etc, so I need some type of external hard drive reader, but for a regular hard drive. Something that plugs into a USB or Firewire port. Do you guys know of such a device?
just plug it into the new computer when you get it, and use it as a secondary harddrive
No, my dad uses Gmail and my mom and sister use Yahoo.
They don't need their hard drive to do it then.
