No shit, it was a game that was following up a fucking grind fest that only got good with The Taken King, but it was good until you realised how shallow of a game it actually is and that it's piss boring and not worth the money at all.
Probably because people thought it would be good. Hell even I bought it and I never buy AAA titles on launch for full price.
Won't be making that mistake again when Destiny 3 and 4 release in the next few years.

If there will be a sequel to this.
I deeply regret pre-purchasing Destiny 2 with a season pass, as a huge fan of the first game I was pretty sure that the sequel will be great but oh man how wrong could one be.

Bungie is contractually obligated by Activision to make 2 more Destiny games, with at least one big expansion the year after each one is released. Think Taken King with the first Destiny.
It's not really a question of if, but when they come out.
Its also the largest disappointment in Activision history

Destiny 1 ended up becoming pretty enjoyable with The Taken King and the beta of Destiny 2 was promising enough
