Yep, title says it all. I have 1000 dollars (actually, 944, but I can go up to 1000) to spend for a new gaming PC. I want: GPU CPU Motherboard RAM PSU HDD Case OS Native resolution of my monitor is 1680x1050 I aim at Bad Company 2 with full settings and 60+ fps, TF2 with full settings and 60+ fps, oh goddamnit I just want the best pc available for 1k dollars go nuts

No, just get the 470.
I've heard the GTX 295 is better though. You just said to get the GTX 470. I need reasons on why it would be better (I'm not saying OP [i]should[/i] get the GTX 295, I just need reasons).
Higher in benchmarks, dual GPU, only problem is that is DX10, which is not a problem because most PC games are able to run down to DX9.

I'll probably go with this, but of course, if there is someone with better idea for it, go post.

Yeah that is why I said "consider". Go with the GTX 470 I guess.
