Is there a way where I can use the fan controls without having to open the case and change the speeds?
are you fans plugged into the motherboard? yes: use speed fan or equivlent no: plug them into the motherboard, if they cant be plugged in, buy a fan controller that sits in a 5 1/2inch bay

Or at least, that's what I did. The intake fans however and the one on the top, no, fan controller.

Put it out the watercooling hole, that's what I did
Put it out the watercooling hole, that's what I did
Roger that, should I tie it to another so it doesn't go astray and touch any component whilst the power is on? the outside of the cable is plastic so it should be fine anyway

The controller part is large enough not to magically spring back through the rubber lined watercooling hole.

Shame the Antec 300 has no holes like that. I could do with easier access to my switches.
Shame the Antec 300 has no holes like that. I could do with easier access to my switches.
this for gods sake, I hate it that I have to open up my case to change controls.
There was a few spare bits that came with the case, I have no idea what some of them are for.. theres a few parts for the front of the case Edit: Thank you people, I now have my fan control switch hanging outside of my case
