Yeah move the polling locations to triple pokestops and put lures on all of them.

A wild Trump appeared.

I wonder if this could actually make a significant difference. Put lures and stuff at polling stations in Republican heavy states or swing states.
Is it just about getting them to the polls, or actually taking active interest and doing research into the stances of political candidates? Because the latter would be a lot more difficult to do.
EDIT:
Looks like to be an aggregator of political info and discussion platform. I like the idea of it, but I have doubts it catches on.
How about stepping up with the future and allowing people to vote online already?
Steps necessary to convince us to vote:
1: Online ballots
2: Candidates worth voting for

I'll let Tom Scott explain why that is an awful idea

Catch Voltorb for Trump, catch Metapod for Hillary

Necessary to convince you to vote, perhaps. The majority of us don't mind going to a polling place once every two years to vote, and we find candidates worth voting for because we are actually interested in how our government works.
I think the biggest problem with young voter turnout is that it's somehow become kind of hip and popular to be all like 'nah I'm not going to vote, all of the candidates suck', as if somehow that makes them seem intelligent. And the funny thing is that such a person could agree with a candidate on 90% of things, but still refuse to support that candidate because they don't agree with them on absolutely everything.
Another problem perhaps, which seems to apply to America mostly, is that there are a heap of sore losers out there. If a candidate they like ends up democratically losing, they'll say 'fuck it I'm never going to vote again, or I'm going to mess things up by voting for the polar opposite of the last candidate I supported'.

When I go digging into a senator, a house rep, a POTUS wannabe's record and see the same corrupt bullshit their opponent does its not hard to conclude that there's nobody worth voting for in this race. It has nothing to do with being 'hip' and everything to do with being fed up with electing corrupt shitlords and having no candidates on the ballot that arent corrupt shitlords.
I want an honest candidate that has the needs AND wants of the average joes like myself at heart, that doesnt bow to corporate interest, that doesnt follow party lines and is willing to reach across the aisle from time to time. I want one that will defend to the death...literally if need be...the second amendment, yet also works towards getting rid of the nannystate bullshit, that will replace obamacare with proper single payer, that will fund NASA, fund infrastructure, fund and greenlight scientific research and testing of a myriad of things. Such a candidate does not exist in 2016, nor in 2014, 2012, 2010, etcetc.

One step closer to my final hour whenever I remember this.

Such a candidate does not exist because holy shit, how much do you want from a candidate? That's ten criteria, some really progressive and some really conservative things, that you look for in candidates. That's at least 1,024 different combinations of those criteria being met. And because you can't reasonably find that 1 in 1,024 candidate, you're just going to give up?
Why not support the next best thing? Life is about making compromises. You want someone who is willing to reach across the aisle... Why can't you practice what you preach? Sacrifice some of those criteria? Because not everyone is going to have the exact same stances as TestECull.
