Today I went to turn on my pc, I didn't turn on, so i checked the power cable, plugged in. then I checked if the power button in my was plugged. then i switched out my power supply, still didn't turn on, took out the GPU, still nothing, even tried the CPU, nothing!
oh and ram, tried that. I don't know what is wrong.
oh and the green light is on the mobo is on
and if any of this sound stupid as fuck, i'm currently pissed that i can't get my pc to work, i have alot of school work that is on there, and i really need it.
What happens when you try?
Do fans spin up and the like but nothing appears on the screen?
Does nothing happen at all, like press button, not a single sound or sign of life?
Please elaborate.
Try using another power cable. If not, then maybe the power button broke?

No sign of life but the green light on the motherboard.

tried that.
Okay then, maybe the PSU is shot somehow and the only thing it can properly power is that light.
Or the power button is broke like the above guy said....
There is a way to turn on your PC using a screw driver. Maybe you should look into that.
Or the PSU fried. Doesn't really explain the green light being lit, but never know.
Your power button pins fell out probably. Find them (Cable should be coming from the front of your case and may say "power button" or "pwer btn" etc on it) and put it in the power button slot on the motherboard, if they're there and put in properly, then your button may be broke. Try just shorting the two together.
http://tinychat.com/myshittypc watch me fuck with it, maybe you can help over it.
Get a screwdriver, boot by shorting.
Or Clr_Cmos
He reseated the CMOS battery and it solved the problem.
~~thanks to my suggestion~~
