This is more of a curiosity of mine that I figured I'd try to turn in to a discussion thread. I've never really fucked with other forums, however I realise the advantages of having spaces online for people with certain interests to communicate.
I used to go on BZpower, a Bionicle forum, when I was nine. Since then, I've never bothered with any forum other than FP.
Other forums for each specialty.
TheGameCreators for game making.
GameFaq for serious games discussion.
Reddit for games and tech.
Facepunch is sort of like all-rounded, casual-like. But it's not too in-depth about things. For practical/occupational uses I find better luck with other specialty forums. For fooling around, I came here.

Sometimes I browse 4chan (/toy/, /tg/, /x/, and /cgl/) but I hardly ever post
I sometimes peek at reddit, 4chan and the like, but for the most part it's just FP for me-
-though the one odd exeception is the official forums for Kerbal Space Program, since that game's a good bit of fun when it comes to more intricate build-in-physics-sandbox gameplay.

Used to lurk on a few Doom forums, but I felt a lot of them became too stale or prone to drama, so I stopped. I also used to have an account on Bay12 quite some years ago, but the rate of posts and discussion has dropped so drastically that I don't really have much reason to log in, and I'd rather just lurk. Facepunch is my only truly active forum at the moment.

Not many others really. I used to be a regular of Undercharged.net before some dickhead hacker shut us down, so then I moved here during the old Gmod days and I've been coming here since. Only other forum I go on occasionally is Reddit, and that's just for Dark Souls and Battle Cats related shit.
I use something awful when I want to see people argue pointlessly for hundreds of pages about topics that don't matter to anyone.

Other than here, Reddit and 4chan mostly. I regularly go on /tv/, /mu/, and /b/, although the constant stream of /pol/ leaking into /b/ is more annoying than anything else.
I browse /g/ and have proudly shitposted in /v/.
I also browse Halomaps, but the threadshitting and derailing that goes unpunished there genuinely irritates me. Don't get me wrong, there's genuine, intelligent people there, but the shitposting I see there makes me miss FP. Shit like "I'm leaving!" threads, stale memes, and image macros. Oh, there's also a cuss word filter for some reason.
There's also Duke4.net, but I mainly just browse there because there's a part of me that still hopes they'll release Duke3D alpha/beta versions.
