Wasteland 2 had some pretty big flaws when it came to gameplay decisions. It was a little bit buggy, sometimes dragged on, and had rather prevalent balance issues when it came to fighting NPCs both human and not. Yet I still dumped almost 100 hours in to it and had a whole lot of fun. I can't say that for most games released this year. I can't really say that for most games released in the last 3 years. Still upset about the lack of character progression stuff. Would have loved to see traits and stuff, perhaps some more aiming options other than the almost useless headshot option.

The bugs and balances were sorted by the time I came to Angel Oracle. Still some things to go, but inXile seem to know what they're doing. THAT is something I haven't said about many publishers this year.
