I used to play the fuck out of the first one, loved it, but people keep telling me that NS2 is unoptimized, and with my computer being 4 years old, well, I'm scared of buying this just to get disappointed. I don't want to blame the developers because my hardware is shitty, so I'll just wait.

It used to be pretty unoptimized, but so are all games pre release, optimizing is one of the last things you do, I'm in the beta and it's fine.

Believe me, you'll most probably be fine now.
About 3 updates ago they improved optimization by like 50%, it's amazing.
I remember when I could barely run it but now it's smooth as butter.
Thanks guys, I'll probably get it then, that was my only concern.
The game has great mechanics but you will get bored of it after 2 days of play. They really butchered the feeling NS1 had.
