Are you uncomfortable with eating food while walking in public? - General

Say you are in the following situation. You're walking by yourself down a busy street, and you're holding a plate of lasagna in your hand, and you are eating it. Would you feel uncomfortable that people are watching you? Do you think that it is weird that you are eating food while walking? After all, all you are doing is keeping yourself alive by eating food, so why should it be strange?

My biggest problem would be trying to balance a plate of lasagna on one hand while eating with the other, especially if people are bumping me around and shit.

Not walking really... But I hate to eat with other people, but I hate to be seen eating alone in public. So if I'm going to eat alone I want to be were no one else is.

The worst is trying to balance two plates of lasagna in one hand with a box of Dunkin' Donuts munchkins in the other while holding a soda in your pants with a straw going under your shirt to your mouth. People give you strange looks, I guess most people don't like Dunkin' Donuts.

It depends, if it's a hot dog or something easy to hold then fine whatever. If I have a steak dinner or some easy mac while walking that would be pretty awkward.

I'm comfortable eating food that I can easily eat with my fingers and doesn't really require a plate, A bag of chips or a hotdog for example.

If it's a hotdog or a simple burger, yeah, but I'm not going to eat steak while walking.

Walking with food is problematic, like texting while driving. You're going to fuck up someones brand new suit including your own clothing too.

If you chose option one, you are weird.

I'm fine with handheld foods, but walking around with a plate and fork would feel weird. And that fact that everyone would be thinking "look at the fat guy eating lasagna on the go".

When I was in Tokyo my American friend was walking down the street eating a sandwich and an old man randomly hit it out of his hands. Either it's more rude to eat in public there or the old people have more gall (I think it's both). To answer the question, I'm not uncomfortable, but I guess it looks a bit unflattering to be walking down the street and shoving something into your mouth at the same time.

I don't mind eating 'snack food' in public ( candy bars, sausage rolls, etc ). I would eat other forms of meals, but only if accompanied by my friends.

I don't find it enjoyable to eat and walk if it's not something like a snack, It has nothing to do with people watching me, it just feels worse than eating it while standing still/sitting down.

How much of a rush do you have to be in to eat and walk at the same time? :psyduck:

I can't stand eating in public.

I do it regularly, but I hide the fact that I hate doing it.

I just don't like the look people give you when you're eating something. Especially fat people, Unless they are looking at my burger :saddowns:
