A friend told me I could download games to it and I was wondering if it was possible to get something like any of the Fallouts on it?

Found? More like bought, amirite?
PSP's don't just lay on the road out there.
You need custom firmware. Google it.
You can play the old Fallout but it lags. It uses an emulator and requires lots of ram. Not worth it really.
What psp is it?Slim or 3004, or GO?

I think it's just a regular one.

pp2 (followed by numbers) and psp 1001
pp2 (followed by numbers) and psp 1001
Sounds like a fat one.
pp2 (followed by numbers) and psp 1001
then it's the original, also called fat.
you're lucky, those are easiest to hack. i mean the screen sucks and the fact that it has half the ram kind of limits what you can do, but they're the easiest to hack.

They're easy to hack if the firmware isn't updated I know that, but out of interest how hard is it if the firmware is updated?
Oh.
I honestly don't care too much for a PSP, but if I could get Fallout on here or find a good RPG that's not Final Fantasy, I'd probably play the hell out of it.

If Fallout was on the PS1 and you had the disks you could create an .EBOOT

I wish I knew what you were talking about :/
Well, anyone know any good RPGs?
Something where I can level them up how I want, not get like, +3 for every stat at every level..
Monster Hunter.
I've head about that from a few people.

PS1 games run on PSP's with the file extension .EBOOT, if you have a disk, or an image of the disk (.ISO for example) you can use a program to make a .EBOOT to run it on the PSP.
