Being that the past year on facepunch has had a great deal of nostalgia (either through threads, or series of images showing childhood toys/TV shows/etc). I thought it would only be right if, during this christmas season we thought back on our childhood christmas, and posted all the things we remember recieving for christmas as kids which provided us with so much happiness then, and nostalgia today, if you feel up to it, post a story or your memories of how you remember unveiling/using the specific toy/item.

I'm not sure if many people remember these, they where released around the mid 90's but they seemed to just dissapear around the year 2000, I was always fascinated with the bright neon style lights, and the futuristic feel. Every chance I got when I was bored I'd pick it up and play with it.

I'm sure many of you will share the same excitement and amazement I had (with your own consoles) when I opened the giftwrap and caught sight of the top left half of the box, Just seeing the word "SEGA" and as I remember "Meg" I knew I had gotten the one console system I had literally screamed after all year, I remember in my excitement that I attempted to climb the stairs twice and failed (falling back down) each time. Just to try and get upstairs that little bit quicker to play on it.
Me and my brother got an N64 after asking for a PS1 since October, it was still awesome though.

whatever, I wanted scotch tape this one christmas, and I got like this giant box of scotch tape, atleast 50 rolls of it.
I had so much fun.
