Yes, because it's so much more practical so say "I was in a state of mental or emotional stability or composure arising from a deep awareness and acceptance of the present moment."

I'm not saying people who sound smart are stupid, I am saying people that try to sound smart are stupid. There is no point in using a smart word when a simpler one works better.

Simple words are vague; Complex words are all about being truly descriptive about what you want to convey, to make it as precise as possible.
make sure you remember the meaning and context or your screwed. When writing publicly you don't want to use complicated words it mat bore readers.

I said where a simpler word fits. And if you try to use those words instead of naturally using it to express yourself, then you aren't very smart. And sometimes other people might not know what you are talking about. I kid you not, this actually happens a lot.
